Jann Arden (1962 - )
Hey if I was going to focus on an American male singer I have to recognize a Canadian female singer. Jann was born in Calgary in the same year I was. But she became a singer and I didn't. Not only is she a talented singer but she's pretty darn funny too judging by her live album. Here's her website where you can watch some clips. Insensitive is a searing song about the treatment a woman receives after a sexual tryst she's had with someone she's in love with who just uses her. Or at least that's my take on it.
