Stomping Grounds Saturday: Rhoda Dendron
The day of exploring my little corner of the world
*****
I discovered Rhoda Dendron this year.

First it was a mystery novel where the murder took place in a rhododendron garden.
Then I found a real live rhododendron garden right here in Nanaimo where I live. Bower ponds has a lovely garden there. And as far as I know, no murders in the garden.
Then I noticed there were riots of Rhodas all over the place.
I never noticed her before but she really got around this year.
So here are some pictures of Rhoda's in all her glorious dresses. And yes I took these myself. The best camera I've ever had is on my phone!
Now if only this website would co-operate when it came to placing pictures.

Pretty in pink.

Lady in red.

And in yellow.
Ready for the cotillion.

I had read that rhodas come in various shades of pink. And yet here we are, in purples.

The Rhodas have gone to sleep now. But they were glorious while they were here.
I'll be looking for them next year.
