Ask Me Anything: Songs

I'm liking this "Ask Me Anything".

Several days ago, I posted a blog asking for your questions. And because I got several answers, I get several blog posts out of it! One post led to all this. Here's the question from Dani.

"Right now, if I looked for "Anna Maria's Life Playlist" on Spotify, which three songs would be the most played?"

Confession. I don't have a Spotify playlist. Never have. I don't want to pay for it when I have so much music already, and there's YouTube.

But what I have been doing is creating music. Okay, I've been cheating. I write the lyrics, and I let evil A.I. create the music for the lyrics. Sometimes it works, and I get something I really like, and a lot of times I get something I don't like. The music I'm working on is from a book I wrote years ago about a singer/songwriter. Roses & Daisies. I've been thinking of using this music for marketing. I don't believe I should sell the music, but I'm thinking of creating YouTube videos for marketing the book. And I know people will accuse me of not writing the book, although I wrote it long before AI was ever an issue. But I assure you, I have written every word of the book AND the lyrics that I use. A few weeks ago, I was totally against A.I except as an editor, but then I tried an A.I. music creator. It did what I could never afford to do, never find people to do, and never can do. Plus, it's pretty cool hearing my lyrics set to music after twenty years. I shared one of these songs last week, Planting Seeds. So I'll share that and a few more.
