The refrigerator - probably the most important appliance in the house. So important that some people have a spare one in the garage and one just for drinks on the patio. You can find appliances to replace the stove, or just not cook, but you can't do much without a place to store your ice cream, ice, or microwavable dinners.
Seems to me that innovation stopped in the 1970's. Because this is from the 1950's or 60's. Someone was thinking when they made this. I bet a woman had something to do with it.
Pull-out shelves and that veggie in the door thing! Why isn't anyone making this!!!
Ever heard of a "wall-mounted fridge"? Nope, neither had I.

Although - I wouldn't want to be the one there when it suddenly all comes crashing down along with the plaster on the wall.
And then there's this! Now that tiny houses are all the rage, this may be what you need.

After all, if you can find contentment lying in bed and cooking bacon, then this should serve your purposes well.

Good history of the modern fridge .
Something we take For granted !
Can’t imagine now life without a fridge!
That was interesting. I have had several refrigerators and separate freezers.
The frustration is that the features you liked in the last model are no longer available in the newer one because they added something different.
If choosing one of the compact all in one models, it is important to have counter space nearby.
