Ask Me Anything: The Perfect Saturday

Took a break for Sunday Musings because it was Sunday. Back to Ask Me Anything.
Today's Ask Me Anything comes from Barb.
What does a perfect Saturday look like for you?
Well, first, I would wake up and discover that I have reverted to my 20-year-old self. I'm looking beautiful, have energy, and look great in a bathing suit. I'll also have discovered that I'm in a hotel somewhere in Europe with a full bank account.
Upon enquiring at the concierge, it turns out I'm in London. So I plan a day in the city.
When I get back to my hotel room after breakfast, I am met by an angel who informs me that I get to live my life over. My children have not disappeared, and I am still their mother, but otherwise, I get a total redo. I get my face and figure back, I am a successful writer, I have money to travel the world and see my kids, and I have freedom. And so I spend the day touring London. Later, I sit down and rent a place out in a country village for the next three months so that I can stay in England and tour around and perhaps solve murder mysteries with the help of little old ladies and the town vicar and I have a romance with a tall handsome Englishman. When I get home to Canada I buy a lovely cottage by the sea, and write a book set in England. My study looks out on the ocean and the gardener is nice to look at as are the gardens. I never have to clean because I've hired someone to do that. Someone has to dust all the thousands of books in my library and keep my craft room organized. Of course, the angel sends me out on missions to help people as well. And to think it all started on a perfect Saturday.
Barb asked about one Saturday and you gave her a whole second life. The part that made me laugh is the cottage in the English countryside where you solve mysteries with the locals, because that is not a daydream, that is a book series waiting to happen. You worked the hired help in there too, which might be the most realistic wish on the list. What got me though is that you had the angel hand you missions to go help people, when most folks would have stopped at the seaside cottage.

That sounds like a great day that leads into an amazing adventure. I love the ending of buying a cottage by the sea back in Canada. What could be better than that?
